Festoon Systems

We manufacture a unique, stainless steel system allowing an increase in the number of cables carried without completely replacing the festoon. The swivel design allows cables to be closely drawn together without damage.

Cables remain in position and are protected from undue stress when extended.  The Two-Ton Trolley is the industry standard size, but other sizes are available.  Cable saddles are height adjustable and can be added after installation for additional cable load.

The festoon system consists of a collapsible series of rolling saddle assemblies that travel along an elevated structural rail system. High-strength, stainless steel wire rope ensures organized and controllable movement. Cables naturally turn in the festoon system for a tighter, nested fit.

When the festoon system is being extended, the taut stainless steel wire rope pulls on the saddle assembly directly behind it. Bumpers help to maintain cable bend radius.

The system can be built for extreme low temperature applications.

Series 200 Self Supporting Cantilever Drag Chains

Our 200 Series Drag Chains are designed for the toughest environments.  Your cable is organized, separated and protected.  Our drag chains feature a self-supporting chain and a roller support stanchion for long distances.  Can also accommodate optional built-in rollers.

Series 300 Vertical Top Drive Drag Chains

EMI Top Drive Drag Chains are shipped pre-assembled, lubricated and ready for immediate installation.  We designed them to be virtually maintenance free, needing no additional lubrication, planned maintenance or adjustment, including the wear pads.  Of stainless steel construction, built to handle extreme environments, with a redundant locking system and vibration resistant hardware throughout the entire chain, and sized to fit your cable load and your space constraints.

We designed in the maximum protection for your cable against damage, strain and wear, including an integrated safety system to protect against dropped objects from overhead.  This greatly extends the cable life and reduces downtime.  Cabling can also be replaced while the chain is in place, for additional savings.  Your cost is further reduced by eliminating the need to replace entire electrical or hose bundles.

400 Series Hybrid Drag Chains

Side Winder 600 Series

Our Side Winder 600 Series features a low profile design, the ability to slide on top of the wheels, with special glide wheels designed for smooth operation.  This impeccable design includes a skidding application so the chain can be used for even greater travel distances. Troughs for the chain to travel in are also designed and included. The 600 Series can be customized to fit your required cable loads and travel.
